Plate Design:
Pressed Steel Plates are flanged and relief contoured by cold forming under hydraulic pressure. All holes are jig drilled to ensure perfect alignment.
The finished plated have dimensions 1.2 m square (1200 mm) and are 5mm thick for tanks up to 3.6m deep and 6mm thick for the base and bottom rows for tanks 4.8m deep.
This construction design conforms fully to BS1564 1975 Type 2.
Internal Staying
A standard internal staying system is provided with stay positions specified to suit the needs of each individual tank size. All stays and other internal components are galvanized. Internal ladders are provided for all tanks.
Connections:
Flanges, sockets or pads conforming to acceptable standards are provided for pipe connections at locations specified by the client.
Jointing:
Jointing material is provided in reels for site jointing. Glasticord 440 is approved by the National Water Council (UK) for use with portable water systems. Other jointing materials are available for storage of various liquids and oils, etc.
